One in a footballion. Footballion is an independent NFL trivia game from BTech LLC. Think of a correct answer other fans might miss, then watch your pixel offense turn it into a play.

Eight questions. Make every snap count.

Start at your own 25-yard line. Each question has multiple correct answers. You have 25 seconds after the preview to enter one. Common answers produce short gains; rare answers go deep. A wrong answer lets you try again while the clock runs. A small typo gets a suggestion: submit again to confirm it. If a surname is ambiguous, enter the full name.

Score a touchdown and the next question becomes a two-point attempt. A Slant or better converts it. After the try, you get a fresh drive from your 25. The eighth question is a kick when you are within 64 yards of the uprights, a last-play Hail Mary when farther out, or a conversion if the previous answer scored a touchdown.

The scoring table

A touchdown adds 70 score, a conversion adds 30, and a field goal adds 30. Eight gems, two touchdowns, and both conversions make a perfect 1,000. Football points and your trivia score are separate counters. A sack earns no answer score and loses up to six yards, stopping at your own 1.

Daily and Unlimited

Everyone gets the same eight Daily questions. A new Footballion begins at midnight in America/New_York, including daylight-saving time. You have one Daily attempt per browser. Answers save immediately, and an unfinished play keeps its original deadline through refreshes. The clock keeps running while the tab is hidden or the playbook is open.

Unlimited deals eight questions from the practice bank and past Daily games. Today's and future scheduled Daily questions are excluded. We avoid your most recent 120 question IDs when enough eligible questions exist, and reuse the oldest when the pool is small. After the authored schedule ends, Daily boards use a deterministic archive selection; Unlimited excludes that day's selected questions too.

Frequently asked questions

Is rarity based on live player answers?

No. Tiers are editorial game values, not measured percentages. Historical answer sets come from published records; tiers emphasize familiar names and interesting deep cuts. The first Hail Mary answer is the featured gem. You can review every answer after the game.

Which historical date counts?

Follow the date range in the question. Draft questions use the selecting team recorded in the historical draft data; a trade afterward does not change it. Franchise questions accept modern and historical names. Season-based playoff questions include games played the following January or February.

Where do the facts come from?

Our initial 30-day schedule uses nflverse historical draft and schedule data, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and historical franchise records. The launch schedule contains 240 questions plus 24 practice questions.

Will my stats sync?

No account is needed. Daily progress, scores, sound preferences, and streaks stay in this browser. Clearing site data removes them. Private browsing or blocked storage may prevent saving. Local scores are for fun and are not a verified competition.

Is this an official NFL game?

No. Footballion is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NFL, its teams, the NFLPA, or individual players. Names appear for trivia identification. The pixel artwork and sound are created for this game.
